The joelette

The Consortium is providing one Joëlette on free loan.
This is an off-road wheelchair that allows people with limited mobility or disabilities to access all types of trails (including mountain trails) with the help of at least two companions. The rear companion ensures the Joëlette’s balance, while the front companion ensures traction and direction.
At the Bocchetto Sessera bike rental point, you can borrow a Joëlette to reach nearby mountain pastures.
A small, significant step towards more inclusive tourism.
You will be provided with all the instructions for safe and trouble-free use.

The Joëlette was purchased as part of the project “A Mountain of Experiences: Sustainable Tourism on the CAI Italian Trail in Piedmont,” conceived by Piedmontese mountain consortia and funded by the Ministry of Tourism.
