Cascina degli Ori Farm at Alpe Pilota
It is located at Alpe Pilota in a building constructed in 1951 by Ermenegildo Zegna as an experimental mountain pasture, serving as a model for the construction and renovation of other mountain pastures. Today, it has been significantly upgraded to meet the required standards.
The farm is located at 1,000 meters above sea level, overlooking the breathtaking panorama of the Po Valley, spanning from Monviso to Grigna, passing through the Ligurian Alps, Monferrato, and Resegone.
The farm is family-run, specializing in livestock farming, raising cattle, goats, and pigs.
It has a farm shop selling its own cheeses, yogurt, cured meats, and other local produce.
On the panoramic terrace or in an intimate room heated by a wood-burning stove, a farm-to-table restaurant is also available, offering traditional country platters and dishes.
All products served and used as ingredients are farm-to-table or local.
